The Tour Continues.....and a chance to win a prize!

Remember I told you about the Blog tour here?
Well today it is my turn to tell you a little bit more about The Quilt Pattern Magazine.

The Quilt Pattern Magazine http://wwwquiltpatternmagazine.com/  was developed by a quilter for quilters. What does that mean???  Well, to me, that means that it's designed with us quilters in mind.

It's online, so there's no waiting for your copy to arrive in the mail, or buying a double up copy because you've forgotten you actually subscribe to it (because you subscribe to a few, don't you???....Does it sound familiar....or is it just me??? LOL)  And there's no worry about using up too much ink printing out your copy because you only have to print the patterns you want...you can save the rest in a file on your hard drive, or like I will....on an external hard drive. Not only that, but The Quilt Pattern Magazine uses a very simple format which allows designers' patterns to be featured  without competition from extra graphics, backgrounds and prints. This is especially great as it enables complete patterns to be printed with a minimal amount of ink and an unnecessary use of ink colors.... and think of all the trees you'll be saving!

It's cheap....only $11.99 USD for a 12 month subscription with a free copy (if you subscribe before December 31)...that's a total of 13 issues.  And absolutely none of your personal information will be rented, sold or shared with any third parties, which is so important in this digital age.
Your subscription gives you instant access to magazine issues from the day of their release to two months afterwards. And each issue will have no less than five new patterns included in each. When you do the maths, thats around $1.00 a month or around 20c a pattern....woohoo ....you can't even get them for that at a garage sale!!!!!  Also included monthly will be an interesting article or two about quilting. Ads will appear in the magazine but they will play a minor part.

The great thing is all pattern templates will be in PDF format for accuracy of printing. Since there are no space limits, templates will not overlap one another the way they do in regular news stand magazines.   Don't you just hate it when you're tracing patterns out and you accidentally copy a line from a pattern on the reverse side of the pattern page?????This will  make that problem disappear completely by providing you with easy to read templates for every pattern.

Now, here's the best part....you can win your very own subscription just by leaving a comment on my blog or any of the other participating blogs on the blog tour.  Gee wizz, if you leave a comment on every blog, you have 30-odd chances to win!!!!!
You can find a list of all the bloggers here:  www.quilt patternmagazine.com/BlogTour.html  Prizes will be drawn during the first week of January.

So, there's no time to waste....order your subscription now and leave a comment at each of the blogs.  You'll get a full refund if you win!

Good luck and sugary hugs
XX Wendy :O)

ROFL - I did just that while I was trying to catch up on all that I have missed for the last few weeks. And yes, I am one who has way too many subscriptions. Now I need to go to sleep. The rest can wait!

I would very much enjoy winning a year's subscription :)

I've noticed the Quilt magazine companies add postage and handling now to their "low price" and jack it up nearly $5 more than the bold print offer. Is that new? I gave up all my subscriptions years ago and haven't found one yet that says buy me now!

It looks really interesting! I am only subscribed to one sewing mag at the moment, it is my favourite so no complaints but it interesting to see what the others have to offer occasionally!

I like the idea of not having templates on each side of the paper. That makes it hard to trace the pattern. I am also looking forward to the blocks of the month.
