Some winter fun and block 6 ‘Seasons Of’ Freebie

Yesterday was a miserable day, weather wise, dull and overcast, but what a perfect day for stitching!!!!  I got some well-needed catch up time on my North Pole Quilt-a-long blocks… 001 (Medium)002 (Medium)003 (Medium) I’m not caught up yet, but getting there!! candy-canes-borderhth And some preparation work for catching up on my framed hexies… 009 (Medium)010 (Medium) These should keep me busy, snuggling in front of the tv at night! stitching And I drew up this gorgeous design by my beautiful friend, Jen….. 005 (Medium) …it’s in her latest e-mag, Elefantz Home.  You can get your own copy HERE….such a pretty garden…..can’t wait to stitch it! pink-flowers-border-hth And, seeing as today is the 10th, today is the day for the next block in our free Block of the month ‘Seasons Of’….’ In Australia, June signifies the beginning of winter, and already the snow is falling on our southern mountaintops, so Dawn had designed this gorgeous snowflake stitchery for you to stitch. 009 (Medium) You can download your copy over on the sidebar, and any of the previous month’s blocks, or click on the link HERE.  I’ve seen a few of these around Blogland already, as some of the girls from the Sew It’s Finished blog have made some wonderful things from them. I’d love to see yours when you stitch them out.  Send me a photo and I’ll post a picture on my blog….I’d be as proud as Punch! There’s still a little bit of time left to our long Queen’s Birthday weekend, so I’m off to the sewing room to finish off some more!!!  Hope you’re fitting in some stitching today too! Sugary hugs xox :O) Signature

You have been sewing up a storm. I just love those framed hexies. I am so tempted to start making up some of my own. Great work on the North Pole blocks.

Thats a great lot of preparation done. Well done. It is good to have things ready for when you have a moment for stitching isnt it. North Pole is looking great. Seeing the blocks on blogs reminds me of the fun I had when making mine.

I love that book. All my friends laughed when I did several in non-traditional colors, including purple, but they all wanted it when it was done! I know yours will be beautiful!
