I have started seeing them down south here too, we are having very warm weather for September.
I had an incident with a snake in my Laundry once and the only option was to kill it. Needless to say when I blogged it I got a few comments but people don't seem to understand that we live hours from the nearest town and sometimes there is just nothing else to be done, we don't kill them if they are outside.
thanks for the recipe too, it will come in handy for lunch boxes during harvesting.Bec Clarkehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17963474290449370294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8431029515503371778.post-25783079194927746212011-09-18T19:28:19.000+10:002011-09-18T19:28:19.000+10:00An earthquake you can sleep thru - that is fine wi...An earthquake you can sleep thru - that is fine with me - a snake of any size - that is not!Cherry Red Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00458970654045196193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8431029515503371778.post-64736707993657759302011-09-18T19:56:41.000+10:002011-09-18T19:56:41.000+10:00Did you scream? I just commented to my DH the other day when I heard that Fiji had an earthquake, New Guinea had one recently as well, and I don't think Christchurch has stopped moving yet, that we are surrounded by earthquakes and I hope they stay away from Oz. I never want to experience one again. :(
Your work is lovely and you will be very popular with your friend for making such a gorgeous gift. I haven't started on my birdie stitches yet, but I decided to use "Bliss" instead of Sunkissed, and got some charm packs ready to go. I love those redwork stitcheries too,- will go and download them. Thanks. Have a beaut day! I find it is my stress reliever, and can't wait to finish each project.
Snakes...so glad they are rare in northern Canada, only the odd garter snake. I would worry about poisonous ones. I don't mind mice, bugs, but snakes...I would freak!
CynthiaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
