Birthday-Love Stash tutorial links

I have been trolling the blogs, looking for great ideas for the Birthday-Love Stash for February and here are some I found for you….. FOR THE SEWING ENTHUSIAST…… a mesh zippered pouch to store all your sewing needs for that quilt retreat…Give them empty or fill them up with some fabulous notions.  Thanks to Becky at Patchwork Posse, you can get find the tutorial HERE Clairebear's scissor keep…… one of these would be great to go in a zippered pouch, wouldn’t it??? 017 FOR THE BUSINESS GUY OR GAL….. who wouldn’t love to receive one or two of these to store their business cards to hand out…..or even those pesky plastic and cardboard discount cards …what a nice way to keep them.  Melanie from the Crafty Cupboard has provided a tutorial for you HERE Wouldn’t you just love to tote this bag into work and listen to all the oohs and aahs from your work colleagues???  Me too, so I thought this would be a perfect birthday-love stash gift!!!  Cheri has two versions you can choose from in her tutorial …and when it all gets too much, don’t you think a working woman (or man!) would love to, and need to, relax with this!  I know I’m going to make me one of these, and I already have one on the birthday list……  Thanks Alissa for this great tutorial! You can even dress them up for work…find a great tutorial HERE by Trish at Notes of Sincerity FOR THE COOK AND THE CHEF…. a great set of placemats would do any household proud, so why not make a set in colours that match the recipient’s decor?  The tutorial can be found on Samelia Mum’s blog Charm Placemats 4 (999x987) or how about some trendy herringbone hot pads!!!!  Melanie’s tutorial can be found on the Moda Bake Shop HERE  FOR THE KIDS…… The cutest little dollhouse pouch to hold  puzzles, books, and any other favorite knick-knacks!  Designed by Vanessa of Lella Boutique, the tutorial is HERE, at the Moda BakeShop. A sleepy fish toy for a toddler or baby…..using up all your scraps…what an ingenious idea Beth has……and Moda has snavelled her tutorial up and put it HERE. and for the artist in the family, this would be a treasured gift!  You can find Joanne’s tutorial HERE. FOR THE MOTORING ENTHUSIAST ….. A simple 30 minute gift that any car lover would appreciate, this padded steering wheel cover will be the talk of the birthday scene!  I can see a teen loving this as much as anyone else, can’t you?  I’m loving Sarah for designing this simple gift over HERE. FOR THE TRAVELLER … My friend Joy from JoyPatch has designed this wonderful toiletries bag that would suit any traveller, whether they are going for a short time or an extended trip.  I can see it made up in masculine prints, feminine prints, kids prints, girly prints, animal prints,  laminate fabrics …….honestly, it would look great and suit everybody! And to wrap your gift up, visit Sarah HERE, to follow her tutorial on paper gift bows! giftbucketbow   Hope these help you get organised for February’s gift making and giving!  I know I’ve got a few of these on my list of to-do’s….perhaps  this Friday night at FNSI…check my sidebar for details!
