“Seasons Of”…..Free BOM blocks 2 & 3

Well, I’m a little bit late but here they are, block 2 – Valentine’s Day and block 3 – St Patrick’s Day Links to both these blocks, and January’s if you’ve missed it, are in the sidebar.  Just click on the link and download. These are part of the year-long free BOM, Dawn and I are offering to you to celebrate the Seasons of Australia! Some significant things happen ‘Downunder’ so we thought we’d put them in a quilt!    In December, we’ll give you the finishing instructions.  Each block will be available till the end of the year, after which time they will be removed, so start collecting.  Dawn and I would love to see what you make with them, whether it be the final quilt, or whether you use each block individually, we’d love to know! If you read my last post, you’ll know I’ve been away at the Let’s Get Stitched retreat in Adelaide over the weekend.  Needless to say, I’m still coming back down to earth, but I’ll fill you in on that on Thursday, with photo evidence!!!  We’re off again tomorrow to Brisbane for a follow-up appointment with the eye specialist for DS…..but will be back tomorrow night…..dashing in and out, but I’ll have time to catch up with Marilyn and Susan for a bite to eat and they’ve generously offered to pick us up and drop us off at the airport…..aren’t they gorgeous gals?!  Marilyn was there with me at LGS in Adelaide…..we still can’t wipe the smiles off!!!!! Until Thursday….I must get some shut-eye! Sugary hugs xox :O)

Just taking a few days to go and visit with some very special gals at the …… Can’t wait to meet Fee, Vicki and especially Dawn at last, and catch up with the gawjus Joy, Marilyn and Teresa again and meet some other wonderful ladies that I’ve talked to so many times, it feels like I know them so, so well! So a short break…..but I will be back on Tuesday with the release of Block 2 and 3 of the “Seasons Of”  Block of the Month….I know, a little past the 10th but Dawn was so preoccupied with organising the retreat that she ‘forgot’ Block 2 and so I promised I’d release it for her and well, I just wont be near a computer on the 10th to release block 3 ….more likely stitching up a storm!!!!   But don’t worry, I WILL be back with more stories to tell! Sugary hugs  :O)   xox

Double whammy–FNWF & Birthday-Love Stash!

It’s always a good feeling when you can multi-task and get more than one thing done at once, and that’s how I spent my Friday night…. glass of wine, good tv shows and stitching some goodies that will fit both criteria….. Still a little more to be done to these girls but neeeearly there! I’m feeling good seeing as I can get some more things in my stash….how about you?  Don’t forget, if you want to join in with the Birthday-Love Stash this month, and be prepared for any upcoming birthdays or special events (that you generally forget until they’re right upon you, like I do!!!) then add your name to the Mr Linky tool that you’ll find on THIS POST.  There’ll be something wonderful as a prize for one of our Birthday-Love Stashers at the end of the month, so don’t miss out, and have the added bonus of being more organised too!
