Christmas catch ups

  How are you going on your Holly Jolly Bingo words????   I’m not doing so well, I only have 10 words out of the 25 so far but I’m planning the slow and steady approach, I think!!!!!  LOL   Well, I’ve finally got the Christmas decorations up….a little later than normal this year.  We always had a tradition to put the tree up on December 1, but that sort of fell apart when DS was born……16 years ago!!!  We do still TRY, but………!!!!!!!! Here we go for a quick, whirlwind visit around my place…..
I made this little guy quite a few years back and he never fails to lose his way at the tv!!!! Bells in the kitchen…..
…baubles in the dining room…..notice the wilting candles…..the tropical heat and humidity has NOT been kind!!!! hee hee
My hubby always sends me a singing and dancing toy for Valentine’s day each year, so when I saw this singing reindeer stocking…..guess what I just had to do??? Our tree…not many presents yet….well!!!!!……Santa hasn’t been yet!!!!!!! LOL  Do you notice up in the corner???….my Birdcage from Jenny and my Birdcage Challenge??? it fits in beautifully….looks like Christmas doves!!!!! This Christmas setting is very dear to me…..I just love it and it’s meaning is true and clear!
…….and seeing we don’t have a chimney….. ….just in case!!!! I made this Santa garland many years ago….I think it looks great against the timber buffet. and on top of the buffet……is another Christmas tree and it wears my Christmas decoration from the SSCS swap with pride!  Thanks so much Kornelia and Chooky!

Christmas blessings…. and dry clothes for Santa after his long ‘damp’ trek through the snow! (C’mon, we all know he’s magic….those clothes might be small now but…..!!!!! *wink*)
and why not another Christmas tree in the kitchen??  I do love my Christmas trees!!!!!!
and I’ve been thinking of finishing some of my many ‘starts’ this year…..  yesterday I’ve been working on these….   Do you recognise them?   They’re from Vicki’s Flirty Flowers pattern….I’m determined to finish it THIS YEAR!!!!! and here is today’s stitchy task….. ….which will be the last before I can put it all together!!!!!   Woohoo!!!!!
