ain’t love grand?

I can’t believe where the time has gone…..

nearly two weeks since a post????  My goodness…..some prompting from fellow bloggers brought me back to reality…. I’ve been bustling around since my DS returned from his holiday to Canada……getting his licence (yay!!!!), going for specialist appointments (boooo!!), preparing for university (mmmmm Confused smile)  This one’s been driving us crazy…. trying to organise rental units after finding out at a VERY late stage there were no uni rooms available for him….uuuurghh!!!!!, getting a new computer for him,  having a very sick hubby (whose now much better!), finding out my back is much worse after the accident than first thought, and also finding out my knee is STILL wonky and I’m unable to return to work!!!!…..having no car, (seeing DS has relinquished my old car as his now and my ‘baby’ is in at the smash repairs for at least a month) and working around just the general day to day ‘stuff’.

I have been busy doing some stitchy business though…..

…I’m nearing the end of my Nice People Nice Things stitcheries and will be starting to put the blocks together soon!!!!  woohoo…..this has been a very long project I started in 2009…..over 100 stitchery blocks just don’t get stitched in an afternoon at my place!!! hee hee  Well, that’s my excuse anyway!!!

I love that roses block…..

…but not nearly as much as my roses hubby bought me for Valentines Day….

He always surprises me with a dozen red roses and a singing and dancing toy….delivered to me….and the lady delivering MUST stay until the dance and song has finished!!!!  (His instructions!!!)

This year, it was the cutest hippo…..  can’t attach the video to share with you……google won’t let me!!!! gggrrrrr….it would give you such a giggle!

Aaahhhh….ain’t love grand?!

Attempt 2 - google ate my first comment. What a gorgeous hubby. He has earned lots of brownie points from your bloggy friends. Hope the uni organising works out quickly. Where is he going?
Look after yourself - enough injuries already.

So sorry to hear about your back! It is the pits, because it makes everything feel awful.

Having a chuckle here. I just flicked back to this post and it is the same title as my last post - but for a different reason. I initially did a bit of a double take wondering how I managed to post onto your page. But no, I havent gone that crazy after all.
